Dino the Dobe
Saturday 14/06/08 was a particularly sad day for myself & my family. I have a few great
loves in this world, my family, martial arts, (participating in) motorsports, a simple cool
breeze from mother nature & doberman dogs.
Dino our 10 month old doberman pup was dealt a cruel blow & taken from us unexpectedly.
A seemingly healthy pup deteriorated before our eyes in the space of a day. After being
rushed to animal hospital where tests revealed he was full of unrelentless cancer, he
crashed & was put on what I call animal life support. I had no choice but to have him put down.
With his last breath he wrapped his paw around my arm, looked at my wife & kids & moaned
his goodbye. Dino lived his short life to the fullest with great energy & loyalty. Almost as if he knew
his fate, he enjoyed everyday, never giving in. He never showed any sign of weakness till the
day of his death. I think as martial artists & human beings there is alot to be learnt from the
simple, loyal attitude of mans best friend.

RIP DINO
