I have been very fortunate in my martial arts career, whether by luck or circumstance, to have stumbled across and formed great friendships with some of the finest martial artists in the business. Anthony Lange is one of those at top of my list and it was very pleasing to see him be awarded 2nd degree black belt in BJJ by John Will and Rigan Machado on Sunday 13/09/09. Anthony is one of the first generation of BJJ & MMA instructors in Australia and has been producing top level fighters since the early nineties. 
I remember telling my friends back in the mid nineties when I started training with Anthony that this was a man I was going to know for a very long time and he certainly has not disappointed me. I have been both a student and training partner as he went from top level shooto fighter to innovative MMA coach, to winning world and national BJJ titles. I have also witnessed him go from blue belt to now 2nd degree black belt in BJJ and am proud to have stood beside him for much of his journey.                

 Anthony's hardcore yet extremely technical approach to the arts has always been very attractive to me and I enjoy every minute that I spend on the mat with him. Well done Anthony, you really are the coaches coach.
